MACHETE DEMONSTRATION FARM
A place for growing in faith and farming
Machete Demonstration Farm is being developed to provide a central location for the agricultural training and church planting efforts of 99 Farmers in Honduras.
Rather than organizing every training event and demonstration at a different location, Machete will give us a place to host our Farming for the Future (FFH) programs, demonstrate new agricultural techniques, and introduce farmers to equipment and practices they can put to use on their own farms.
We also envision Machete as a gathering place for farmers, families, and churches, where relationships can grow alongside the agricultural work. By bringing these activities together in one location, we hope to make better use of our resources while expanding the opportunities available to the communities we serve.
Most rural schools in Honduras have limited access to the land, equipment, and resources needed for hands-on agricultural education. We envision Machete as an outdoor science lab where students can explore agriculture beyond the classroom.
Through field trips, practical experiments, and Farming for the Future competitions, students will have opportunities to plant, observe, test new ideas, and discover what farming has to offer.

A place to host Bible studies, women's discipleship groups, and gatherings that strengthen relationships and encourage spiritual growth.

A central location to support church planting efforts, equip local leaders, and coordinate ministry across surrounding communities

A welcoming base for visiting mission teams to serve alongside local staff, farmers, and churches throughout rural Honduras.
